I posted this earlier this week on Facebook and I will start coloring this next week.

I have a temporary fix for why these pages don't automatically allow people to post comments and sadly it can only be done at home, so hang with me, I will eventually get it fixed.

I am sitting here in my office at home with a dog at my feet who keeps reminding me it's "nap time" and I am thinking to myself, "how lucky am I?" I have a wife who is supportive, a warm house, a job that pays the bills and good friends and family. I don't care about how many DVDs I own, or how many trains I have, or even how much product I sell, as long as I remember those important issues of whats REALLY important, I am the richest man in the world.

The First Week

Now that training is over I can start doing driving on my own and I am glad to do it too because ya just get to a point where it's like "ok, enough training, lets just do this already!" I have three routes (of which I will post later) and after a couple of days things are going well, besides weather issues that is :)

My new schedule gives me plenty of time for working and yesterday I did some for the first time in weeks at Brueger's Bagels but after a while it too got a little crowded, today I am at the Hennepin County Library and it's wonderful. Quiet, no interruptions and I can work....and work I did.

I have been toying around with this idea of a bus driver... Go figure! Anyway, there are some people at work requesting some of my work so I started on this little guy and some writing for him. I call him "Barney the Bus Driver." I'll see where this goes but, next months schedule is done and and I am back up and running. It will be weird not doing a daily cartoon and I am going to miss STV but I have enough to keep me busy.

Special announcement!!

Though I have enjoyed doing STV for the last 5 years, I believe it is time for a change. Over the last six weeks I have been doing a LOT  of reading, fantasy reading to be specific and I thing that I am going to be drawing in that direction. Now, for those of you that have been with me since the begining you have seen me experiment with characters with names like "IDK" and "Singe" and even some of you might know a little about my "Ned" series, well, with this new series I am going to try to WRAP THEM ALL UP TOGETHER. Now there are a couple of ideas that I have to work around but with my driving schedual I will have plenty of time during the day for this. So stay tuned, more will be coming!

Testing update!!!!

I have finished all of my testing and PASSED!!! I will be spending this week at my NEW garage learning routes and what not for the next 5 days. Then after that I will be doing my own route and things can get back to normal!!
